Hello,

Been a long time user of PDAs, smartphones and UMPCs but there is just nothing I could find to replace the REX 6000.

A list of what I came up with when my dear REX 6000 went to Rex heaven... Sad

The closest ones in size factor are the Oregon and another called Royal Vista something. Both does not have the ability as to input addiontal custom programs. Which makes them on the same grade as a REX 5000 instead.

Next are the Palm V, Vx, m500 and m505. Colour versions of PDA drain a lot of battery and thus takes the appeal away for me as I need something that could go for days, weeks or months without worrying about the next charge cycle. The Palms are sleek but ot as small and sleek as the REX.

As of this post I carry with me 5 devices that I use frequently.
1) My Good old Sony Picturebook PCG-C1MW ( some of the first UMPCs ever produced )
2) A HTC Universal. ( Super HUGE PDA for emails and web surfing )
3) Nokia E61 ( texting and phone )
4) a GPS Bluetooth reciever. ( I get lost easily Sad )
5) A dead Rex 6000 Sad Looking for replacement.
