Rex 6000 stuck in screen calibrate

I've got a Rex 6000 that somehow has gotten itself stuff in the screen calibrate mode. I tried the reset button but it still turns on and goes directly to the screen calibrate window. I can sit and touch the center of the screen all day and nothing happens.

I've pulled all the batteries, replaced them and tried the reset again. Still no joy. Is it toast ??
