How can I write firmware?

I have a REX6000, I need write something into firmware, like Ridge write chinese BMPs into firmware, I know I should append something to REX.BIN with a specific format, but I do not know the format, Who can tell me? Thank you very much!

Hi,
You need to know about the format of S Record, which is used by Rex.bin.
The information could be found at http://www.rexextras.net
You need to append your data or code as S Records to Rex.bin, then modify the first 3 bytes which are the length of the firmware file.
