hi guys -
yesterday i finished a little addin for presenting random entries from selected memos, to be used as a little flashcard program or for displaying random quotes, etc.

any suggestions where i could send it to share with people since i dont have a website to host it?

hi mouser

thanks for creating the new add-in. as far as i know, this may be the only new add-in for 2004 Crying or Very sad

i can host the add-in for you at my site www.rexstuff.com. it has a list of all new add-in created since Jan 2003. rexers can also download those hard to find add-ins there.

you can send your add-in to me at qc2000 at yahoo.com. please include a short description of the add-in.

other add-in developers, if you've created new add-in and wish to share with others, i'm more than willing to host it for you. Very Happy

hi yiming-

first, thank you for your site!

it's nice to see people keeping the rex6000 alive :)

i've uploaded the current version of the addin, with help file and full source code here, along with some sample memo files.
http://mircryption.sourceforge.net/Beta/Flashcards/Flashcards.zip
http://mircryption.sourceforge.net/Beta/Flashcards/FlashcardsSampleMemos.zip

but i can't keep it there permanently, so if you could find a permanent home for it on your site that would be great.

i'll probably be improving it in the next week or so, so keep that in mind in case you want to wait until im 100% done updating it.

i'm happy to take any suggestions for minor modifications; any feedback is welcome.

-mouser

i made some major changes already :)

Flashcard can now properly parse dict files used with the RexDic addin, so you can quiz yourself using the same data files from dict.

See the help file for detailed information on all changes.

Same download location:

hi Mouser

i will host your add-in on my site. but do you think you can make a package of the essential files only, ie. without adder, webbgone, calbgone etc. thanks.

Ok, latest updated version, with non-required addins removed, and with the large sample flashcard memo collection in a separate file.

http://mircryption.sourceforge.net/Beta/Flashcards/Flashcards.zip (100k)
http://mircryption.sourceforge.net/Beta/Flashcards/FlashcardsSampleMemos.zip (782k)

ps. Flashcard is now compatible with RexDic Dict files.
