I just wanted to follow up on the current anti-spam features I've done. Mainly by disabling posts unless previous authorized.

I realized when I first did this that things weren't ideal. I knew there were mods for phpBB that add some new anti-spam options, but I just haven't had time to look at them, and still haven't actually. All I can say is there are a lot and they have some very nice features.

I have heard that some people are concerned about this current drastic option. Point blank, a spammer posted a very inappropriate image. This forum is all ages, and I want to keep it that way. Currently there is no way to disable image tags without disabling all other tags.

Just to make everyone aware, I am still looking into anti-spam plugins and hope to come up with something sometime soon. As other sites fall I don't plan on letting this site meet the same fate. Thank you.

If you have any questions or concerns or suggestions, you can send me a private message or send me an email (look at the previous announcement for the address).
